These courses are aimed at graduates developing their design skills and practicing engineers who may still be transitioning from British Standards to Eurocodes. The courses make extensive use of tutorials to reinforce the understanding of design to Eurocodes.
The next course is BS EN1992: Eurocode 2. Design of Concrete Structures
The course runs on Mondays for five weeks. A sixth week is included in case one of the preceding sessions has to be postponed for unforeseen reasons. Each Session will start promptly at 3.30pm and finish at 7.30pm.
As with previous courses, the first week will be used to introduce the basic principles of design to Eurocodes EC(0) and EC1.

Weeks 2-5: (12 October – 2 November)
· Eurocode 2: Design of Concrete structures
· A brief commentary on Eurocode 2 Second Generation
