Waterproofing new-build basements

This webinar is the third in our series and will explore the protection grades set out in BS 8102:2022 and the Type A, Type B and Type C waterproofing systems, with a focus on their application to new-build below-ground structures. Particular attention will be given to the distinction between externally applied waterproofing systems and structurally integral waterproofing approaches, and how these influence design, construction sequencing, inspection requirements and long-term performance.

It will also highlight the risks associated with the different construction systems, as well as best practice methods for ensuring a specific type or combined waterproofing system will offer robust watertight protection.
