The IStructE London Young Members Group is delighted to announce that Grab-a-Grad is coming to Imperial College London!
Join us for an engaging evening of career insights, networking and conversation with structural engineers at different stages of their careers.
The event will feature presentations from three to four graduate, experienced and/or chartered engineers, who will share their career journeys, current projects and the reasons they chose structural engineering. They will also showcase a variety of exciting projects, explore the challenges they encountered and discuss the solutions they developed, giving attendees an insight into the diverse work carried out by structural engineers and the different working environments across the industry.
We will begin with 20-30 minutes of informal networking, accompanied by light refreshments. This will be a great opportunity to meet the speakers, connect with fellow attendees and start conversations before the presentations.
The presentations will last 1 hour giving plenty of time for all the speakers to talk about their journey.
Following the presentations, we’ll have a joint Q&A session, giving everyone the opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts and learn more about the speakers’ experiences.
