A series of uniformly and eccentrically prestressed concrete beams was tested in combined bending and torsion, with ratios of bending moment to twisting moment varying from pure bending to pure torsion. In all, twenty-three prestressed beams and two plain concrete beams were tested. The deflections and strains due to bending and torsion were measured at selected points.
