Bringing together practitioners, academics and students in a showcase of outstanding structural engineering research.

The Young researchers conference returned for its 28th year in 2026. This hybrid event showcased exceptional structural engineering research projects presented by PhD students  to a panel of judges, comprised of both academics and practising engineers from the IStructE Research Panel.
