We are excited to announce the launch of our IStructE Campus Ambassador pilot programme, designed to enhance Student Membership and engagement within the structural engineering community. This initiative seeks to empower passionate and motivated students to represent IStructE on their university campuses, bridging the gap between the Institution and the next generation of structural engineers.
You do not need to be based in the UK to apply, but make sure you submit your application before the 18 October deadline.
Role of Campus Ambassadors:
Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for IStructE on campus, promoting membership and the Institution’s various offerings to fellow students.
Content Creation: Develop and share content, such as social media posts, articles, and videos, that highlight the benefits of IStructE membership and showcase student experiences.
Feedback Collection: Gather insights and feedback from students to help IStructE tailor its services and offerings to better meet the needs of future members.
Benefits for Ambassadors:
Professional Development: Gain valuable leadership and project management experience, along with the opportunity to network with industry professionals and IStructE members.
Recognition: Receive official recognition from IStructE, enhancing your CV and standing out to future employers in the structural engineering field.
